FalconX is a pioneering team of operators, investors, and builders committed to revolutionizing institutional access to the crypto markets. Operating at the intersection of traditional finance and cutting‑edge technology, FalconX addresses the industry's foremost challenges : navigating the digital asset market can be complex and fragmented, with limited products and services that support trading strategies, structures, and liquidity found in conventional financial markets. As a comprehensive solution for all digital asset strategies from start to scale, FalconX operates as the connective tissue empowering clients with seamless navigation through the ever‑evolving cryptocurrency landscape.

Role Summary

As a Product Manager, you will function as a Technical Product Leader for our core electronic trading platform. You will fully own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the Spot Crypto and FX Trading infrastructure, ensuring we provide a scalable, robust, and high‑performance solution for institutional customers. The candidate will partner with internal teams to build and maintain scalable, robust, performant solutions for institutional customers. The scope encompasses all the systems that support the platform – routing, trading system infrastructure, performance monitoring, client experience, and the entire trade lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure & Reliability : Drive quarterly investment in latency and reliability improvements to the core trading stack, directly impacting throughput, reduced slippage, and increased fill rates.
  • Application Layer : Lead the development of new platform features, including advanced order types and algorithms (e.g., Stop Loss, Icebergs), enhance FIX infrastructure to support scale, and update core spreading logic to allow for dynamic skewing.
  • Liquidity Layer : Enhance the liquidity provider program by building internal tools to track and report status and gaps. Drive the roadmap for developing sophisticated hedging and smart order routing models.
  • Execution Management : Write Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for technical improvements across the infrastructure and application layers.
  • Support & Oversight : Provide general day‑to‑day management support during US hours, including tracking and reporting for proactive issue identification, resolution, and supporting revenue teams in technical conversations.
  • Quality Assurance : Create testing frameworks and test cases for individual product releases and build tools to track and report trading data and success metrics for these releases.

General Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of progressive experience in Technical Product Management or Technical Program Management within a fast‑paced electronic trading environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in API Development, with a proven track record in technical product management focused on API design and management.
  • Must have 2+ years of experience in brokerage, market‑making, or institutional trading, ideally with exposure to foreign exchange (FX) or crypto or payment solutions.
  • Deep expertise in building and managing high‑performance trading infrastructure.
  • Proficient in collaborating closely with cross‑functional stakeholders—Sales, Engineering, Partnerships, Operations, and Compliance—to capture all technical requirements and drive successful product launches.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in a high‑speed, 24 / 7 digital asset environment.
  • Strong team orientation and a willingness to operate in the weeds of technical detail.
  • Track record of end‑to‑end technical ownership and delivering complex, high‑impact results.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience building / managing active trading systems or algorithmic hedging strategies.
  • Prior experience in the digital assets industry is a significant advantage.
  • Previous experience as an early / founding team member at a growth‑stage startup.
  • Possession of an MBA, FRM, or CFA certification would be advantageous.
  • Compensation

This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated.
