Principal Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer with extensive experience in high-transaction e-commerce environments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines in Python and SQL for data movement between the data warehouse and external platforms

Automate data workflows to ensure accuracy, scalability, and timely delivery

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and reliability

Required Qualifications

7-10 years of professional experience as a data engineer in high-volume e-commerce or transactional platforms

Expert level in Python and strong SQL skills

Hands-on experience with data integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms

Experience in cloud computing and / or AWS services (3+ years)

BS in Computer Science or equivalent
