Physical Fitness Testing will be conducted November 10, 12, 13.

Applicants that successfully pass the Physical Fitness test will be invited to interviews on November 17, 18, 20, 21.

The Davis County Sheriff's Office operates 24 hours per day 7 days per week,

this position may require working weekends, holidays and rotating shifts.

Davis County Sheriff's Office is looking to hire full-time Deputies which may include assignments in Patrol and Corrections. Are you wanting a career in law enforcement ? This position pays $30.87 - $47.68 hourly depending on experience along with the following benefits :

You start your law enforcement career by completing POST academy. We   will sponsor new hires through POST(Peace Officer Standards Training) academy, providing paid training!   While the physical fitness requirements are challenging, you thrive on that challenge. In this law enforcement position, you are not just punching a clock. You care about people and, in your profession, you affect people profoundly in two ways. First, you keep the citizens safe, ensuring that the people who might cause them harm don't run free. Physical fitness testing requirement :

QUALIFICATIONS FOR DEPUTY No experience necessary!

At least 21 years old for LEO(Law Enforcement Officer)

Preference for applicants with active Utah POST certification - SFO / LEO / BCO .

Preference for bilingual skills in Spanish.
