Field Service Technician

Scientel Solutions is looking for a Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing and maintaining the communication equipment that powers our customers' networks. Whether it's setting up wireless equipment, running cables, or maintaining connections, you'll play a key part in delivering reliable service to clients across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Install & Maintain Equipment: Set up wireless equipment on rooftops, cameras on traffic poles, and access points both indoors and outdoors.
• Troubleshoot & Repair: Quickly diagnose and resolve network outages, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Cable & Conduit Installation: Install cables (Cat5/6, DC power, fiber) and set up PVC/flex conduit to support network connections.
• Hands-On Expertise: Work on-site with the latest technology, microwave antennas, and communication infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in digital wireless equipment installation, cabling, or related fields.
• Skills: Strong organization and multitasking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Customer Service: Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work at heights (rooftops up to two stories).
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Certifications & Requirements

• Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Medical & Safety: Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card, OSHA Construction Industry 10-Hour DOL Card, and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug test.
