Security Officer - Tech Center - Full Time

As a Security Officer in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming environment, reflecting our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Pay Rate : $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 10 : 30 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Thur 10 : 30 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Fri 10 : 30 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sat 10 : 30 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sun 10 : 30 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
