The Manager, Sustainability is responsible for fostering a culture of sustainability by identifying, managing, and implementing sustainability programs, while engaging with executive campus leadership and team members to foster sustainability broadly across HMH.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :

• Masters in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or other related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in sustainability program management.
• Working knowledge of Joint Commission Sustainability Certification.
• Working knowledge of Practice Greenhealth Award Applications.
• Ability to foster teamwork.
• Decision-making skills.
• Management skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Problem / situation analysis.
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and / or Google Suite platforms.

Budget and Grant Funding : Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered. Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
