Job descriptionCAN START PENDING VA LICENSE; MUST BE ABLE TO VERIFY VA LICENSE APPLICATION General Skills : IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, PACS Nuclear Med Procedure Experience : Cardiac, bone scan, brain scan, lung scan, renal flow, thyroid studies, SPECT, myocardial Certs : BLS, NMTCB [[ARRT preferred]] VA license (or) proof of application & proof of incumbent active license from another state and application of VA license Expereince : Min 2 years of Nuc Med Tech experience. Independent work is required. Traveler must be experienced and proficient. Seasoned travelers preferred. Manager will consider first-time travelers if Tech is very experienced. EPIC CLASS : RADIOLOGY CT ONLINE ON UNIT Scrub color : Pewter Grey The Flu vaccine is required during flu season. (Oct 1st - Mar 31st). If your traveler is requesting a religious or medical Flu exemption, it will be the responsibility of the agency to ensure the traveler’s request complies with CMS guidelines. Qualivis will review / approve each request with supporting documentation. Adolescents-Geriatrics\n\nJob duties : Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses to be administered by radiologists.
