We are a global retailer and distributor in the B2B marketplace with offices in the US, UK, PL and CN.

We seek an experienced Dynamics 365 BC Functional analyst to join our team following a recent implementation of Dynamics 365 BC. This is a permanent position, based from our US headquarters in Sanford, NC, and the successful candidate will be required to work from the office at least 3 days per week. This role will focus on maximizing the system's capabilities across our finance, operations, and supply chain functions, ensuring that the business is utilising existing and new functionality to the fullest potential.

You will form key business partnerships within the US HQ with our departmental resource leads and will work with senior stakeholders to analyse business requirements and provide solutions based upon your extensive experience and knowledge of how BC operates. You will help with the design of improved solutions, demonstrating new functionality to the business, piloting this functionality where applicable and implementing these improvements within our global business. You will work within the guard-rails of a global change management process that will ensure that correct prioritisation is being set and go-live approval is made based upon expected business benefits and ROI, whilst also ensuring that we apply all changes globally where possible.

From a functional perspective you will need to understand complex needs, especially in finance and supply chain within a retail and distribution business, and be able to demonstrate how the system can address these whilst aligning with our strategic goal which is to offer our customers excellent gold standard service.

You should be able to work independently and with other team members, be very business focussed with strong stakeholder management and of course strong communications skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Functional Ownership :  Take ownership of the Dynamics 365 BC system roadmap within the US business.
  • Collaborative Support :  Work closely with business owners (especially in Finance, Operations and supply chain) to define requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Strategic Guidance :  Guide the functional strategy for Dynamics 365 BC, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Systems Expertise :  Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Dynamics 365 BC, advising on functionality and supporting users.
  • Change Management :  Champion best practices for change management within the entire business. Manage system updates with appropriate system testing and UAT.

Role Requirements :

  • Experience :  5+ years of experience with Microsoft NAV and / or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Cloud.
  • Skills :  Strong business acumen in finance and supply chain, excellent collaboration skills.
  • Attributes :  High attention to detail, strong stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills.
  • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience with Dynamics 365 BC Cloud in an end-user setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders to define clear and achievable objectives.
  • Experience creating knowledge articles and documenting processes.

  • The position is based in our Sanford, NC offices.
  • Requirements for this position are as follows :

    Must have :

    Experience in most, but ideally each of the following BC add-on solutions :

  • Insight works warehouse management tools
  • Avalara tax
  • Clever credit
  • Soft skills requirements :

  • Self-starter who can work without direct supervision.
  • You will be an experienced functional analyst, experienced in analyzing situations and working alongside the business functional team to deliver excellent solutions.
  • You know ‘what good looks like’ and will help the business add continual improvement to our ERP with pride and with passion.
  • You can communicate clear ideas and concepts to all levels of the organization.
  • You have great organizational capabilities.
  • You will be highly proficient in using Microsoft Office 365, including Teams.
