Position Summary :
Deli & Meat Clerks make sure customers have a great experience by keeping products available, greeting customers and offering timely, friendly, and caring service. Clerks make sure the Deli and Meat departments are clean, well-stocked, and look good. They ensure our products and practices follow all safety rules. Additionally, they help out in other parts of the store.
Their main duties include helping customers, preparing and packaging food, restocking shelves, making products look attractive, and general store support.
Location : 622 Selby Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55104
Schedule : Current shifts available may vary and can include day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours to meet department needs. Flexibility required to meet business needs.

Physical and Working Requirements :
The position involves frequent stationary tasks, along with regular movement within the deli, meat, and storage areas. Frequent positioning is required to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products. The job also entails the frequent movement of containers weighing up to 50 lbs. Clerks may occasionally ascend / descend a ladder to reach high shelving and will utilize various equipment, including but not limited to knives, slicers, vacuum sealers, pallet jacks, ovens, and a baler. Clerks frequently wrap, process, and handle deli and meat products. This role requires exchanging accurate information in person and over the phone. Additionally, Clerks may frequently work in a walk-in cooler and freezer and be exposed to sanitizer, cleaning products, and loud noises. This position requires an individual to be at least 18 years old.
