Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Start Date : October 24, 2025

End Date : January 23, 2026

Shift : 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week (on-call required)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,210 - $2,370

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license – required for Illinois nursing jobs

Current CPR / BLS certification

ACLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

Strong clinical judgment and ability to recognize and report changes in patient condition

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs in a surgical setting

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care with the multidisciplinary healthcare team

Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and families regarding surgical procedures

Maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with healthcare standards

Demonstrate professional communication skills and contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace environment

Participate in continuing education and uphold core measures related to patient care and safety

Respond to on-call duties and support surgical teams as needed
