Description :

Therapy PT Home Health position involves home visits.

Periodic office meetings are required.

Reliable transportation and a current driver's license are mandatory.

Agency-required liability insurance is necessary.

The average number of patients per day is 5-6.

Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients daily, equating to roughly 6-8 points.

Each type of visit and activity, such as documentation and travel, holds a different point value.

Types of cases include start of care and follow-ups.

Weekend requirements vary per location.

Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic.

Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.

Traveler is compensated from patient home to patient home.

Commute to and from the first and last patient are not billable.

Local applicants are accepted under the same conditions.

Pending licenses are not accepted unless a license takes a few days to obtain.

Most positions will have a standard 5x8 schedule, M-F.

All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient.

Delayed and incomplete documentation impacting billing and follow-up patient care will not be tolerated.

There are no guaranteed hours with this contract.

Clinicians must achieve weekly productivity points of 30, equivalent to 40 hours per week.

If not receiving enough patients to meet financial needs, there may be an opportunity to float to another nearby clinic.

Candidates will be responsible for driving to patient homes daily and to the clinic for meetings.

Comfortable driving long distances between patients is essential.

All candidates must accept every patient on their schedule regardless of distance.
