Join our team at Strategic Sight Consulting LLC for an opportunity as a Program Analyst experienced in conducting research, analysis, and drafting policy / guidance / directives in a dynamic and rapidly shifting environment.
The esteemed candidate will coordinate small and large group engagements across multiple government agencies, creating holistic approaches to establishing strategy and policy with organizational priorities in mind.
Responsibilities and Background
- Assess the need, currency, and efficacy of the joint exploitation enterprise in satisfying warfighter, acquisition, research and development, intelligence, operational, and training requirements; and ensure they are incorporated into the prioritization process and reflected in the planning and implementation of Joint Exploitation activities.
- Research, analyze, draft, and recommend public policy positions aligned with the mission and strategic planning.
- Develop and prepare in-depth analyses of assigned issues at the regional, departmental, and national levels.
- Prepare correspondence, including white papers, reports, letters, and other forms of official communications intended for internal and external audiences.
- Establish processes for data collection and analysis to ensure that data is consistent, complete, and that analysis aligns with current strategic priorities and focus areas.
- Write, edit, and update policy memos, comments on proposed policies, fact sheets, legislative drafts, materials for legislative hearings, and other policy and advocacy documents.
Requirements
Active Top Secret ClearanceFamiliarity with the operational environment, including the threats, challenges, and opportunities faced by Combatant Commanders. Experience working on a Combatant Command staff is a plus.A strong understanding of joint exploitation concepts and processes. Familiarity with Collected Exploitable Material (CEM), and forensic and technical exploitation requirements, processes, and outcomes.Familiarity with military intelligence principles, concepts, and processes.Skilled at working with a broad range of stakeholders with competing perspectives and applying diplomacy to effect compromise and cohesion.Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree a plus.Exemplary communications skills, both written and verbal.Demonstrated experience in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.Exemplary project management skills with a high degree of accountability and organization.Proven critical thinker who makes appropriate decisions and finds solutions easily.Extreme attention to detail; takes pride in and ownership of work, and can manage projects from concept through launch with very little supervision.Must work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines and delivering superior results.A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on working on a variety of key initiatives concurrently.Proven ability to work within tight timelines with high-quality output.Sincere commitment to working collaboratively with all constituent groups (members, staff, etc.).About Us
