EMR : Epic (recent proficiency required)

📅 Assignment Details

Start Date : 1 / 5

Start Dates : Not flexible

Radius Rule : Must live within 100 miles

RTO Limit : Max 5 days off

No : 48-hour guarantee, blocked scheduling requests

Orientation :

1 day NEO (New Employee Orientation)

1 day Clinical Education / Epic

1 day on unit

👩‍⚕️ Experience & Requirements

Experience Required : 2 years RN, 1 year specialty

Certifications :

Required : BLS

Preferred : ACLS

Epic EMR : Required, recent use mandatory

🩺 Unit Overview

Common Diagnoses :

Pneumonia, COPD, Radiation patients, AKI, occasional lap chole, appendectomy, etc.

RN Ratios :

Days : 1 : 5–6

Nights : 1 : 6

Charge Nurse : Usually available; may take assignment if needed

Support Staff : PCA (8–12 per nurse)

RT Equipment : Bipap, stable trach

Tele : On unit, monitored by dedicated techs

Drips : Heparin & Lasix (non-titrated)

⏰ Scheduling & Float Info

Shift Times : 6 : 45–7 : 15 (AM / PM)

Weekends : Every other

Holidays : Typically 2 of 3 major holidays

Call / Standby : Low Census On-Call

Floating : May float to :
