  • Call Response Time : Within 30 minutes
  • Callback Rate : Low volume (deliveries + GYN emergencies) COVERAGE DATES

  • Patient Demographics : Adults (OB / GYN patients)
  • Patient Volume / Census : Low volume department
  • Admissions : Yes, related to OB / GYN coverage
  • Phone Consults : Yes (via pager call)
  • Case Mix : Obstetrics (deliveries) + GYN emergencies
  • Average Deliveries : 26 per month
  • Average GYN Emergencies : 24 per month

    • FACILITY INFORMATION

  • EMR System : Meditech, eClinicalWorks
  • Office Equipment Available : Standard OB / GYN equipment
  • Specialty Backup Available : General Surgery
  • Support Staff Available : Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
  • Reason for Coverage : Temporary coverage for select dates

    • PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

  • Hospital Privileges Required : Yes
  • Temporary Privileges Available : Yes (timeline dependent)
  • Credentialing Timeline : 24 weeks (dependent on physician responsiveness)

  • Rate : TBD
  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Laparoscopic skills for typical GYN emergency coverage
  • Dilation and curettage (D&C)

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active NY license (required)
  • Board : Board Certified (ACOG / ABOG preferred) or Board Eligible with strong qualifications
  • DEA : TBD
  • Certifications : BLS / ACLS preferred
  • Experience : OB / GYN practice with demonstrated procedural competence
  • Other Qualifications : Must remain within 30 minutes of hospital for call coverage
