Position : Make-Ready Auto Detailer

We have an exciting opportunity for a results-driven, detail-oriented Make-Ready Auto Detailer . This position is responsible for preparing and detailing vehicles for delivery to ensure every customer drives off the lot with a vehicle that looks and feels brand new.

Key Responsibilities

Train and assist fellow make-ready and detail technicians

Maintain inventory and order necessary make-ready supplies

Serve as liaison between department staff and Sales Managers to streamline vehicle prep for new and pre-owned cars

Perform full vehicle detailing to dealership standards

Ensure compliance with dealership policies on customer vehicle care and handling

Report any vehicle damage to Service for timely claim filing (within 24 hours)

Conduct final quality inspections on all vehicles before they reach the front line

Coordinate with Sales and Service to ensure timely, accurate vehicle deliveries

Participate in regular department meetings

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

1–3 months of relevant experience preferred

Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms

Occasionally required to use manual dexterity, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Must occasionally lift / move up to 10 lbs

Visual requirements include close and distance vision, color recognition, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
