Reputable Chicago-based firm is hiring a Stormwater Project Engineer for their team in Indianapolis!

Responsibilities :

• Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of floodplains and floodways (bridge and culvert crossings)
• Analyze flood problem areas to identify problems, look for solutions, and create a design with recommended alternatives
• Stormwater system analysis and design for municipal / roadway projects (conveyance, storage, and stormwater quality best management practices)
• Design of soil erosion / sediment control practices
• Serve as the technical lead on projects
• Perform a variety of design tasks (calculations / models, report / plan preparation, quantity calculations, construction details, specifications, cost estimates, and other related tasks)
• Work on multi-discipline projects with other disciplines
• Review engineering work completed by others
• Build / maintain client and vendor relationships
• Mentor / train junior staff

Requirements :

Salary is commensurate with experience.
