Chemical Operator - 1st Shift

SMS Staffing Is Hiring Immediately For Chemical Operators!   JOB TITLE :

• Chemical Operator JOB LOCATION : North Chicago, IL JOB TYPE : Temp to Hire PAY : $18-$20 / Hr.  1ST SHIFT : 9 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM (Monday - Thursday)
• Multiple Positions
• About the Chemical Operator Role :
• Operate a forklift
• Label and fill drums
• Use a wide variety of pumps and hoses to fill tanks and tank trucks
• Correctly fill out manufacturing paperwork and checklists
• Keep work areas clean and neat
• Follow all safety policies
• Execution of activities as assigned
• Responsibilities involving food safety, when required   Qualification Requirements :
• Read and write English
• Have basic math capabilities
• Feel comfortable working around chemicals
• Must be able to pass a background check   Special Circumstances :
• Must be able to work overtime, as needed
• Must be able to wear safety equipment (i.e., respirators, gloves, acid suit, goggles, and steel-toed work boots / shoes)
• May be required to work outdoors
