We have an opening in Packing & Shipping at our Upholstery Manufacturing facility in Archdale, NC.

General Description / Purpose :

The Packing & Shipping position will provide a high level of service to ensure employee, customer, team

member, and vendor satisfaction. The Packing & Shipping position does this by wrapping and packing

upholstered furniture pieces and loading them onto trucks to be delivered to customers. This position is

also responsible for receiving and unloading freight from trucks. The Packing & Shipping position

completes these functions in the manufacture of furniture parts and pieces.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Ability to read production tickets and any special instructions

2. Pack & ship upholstered furniture using packing materials and cardboard

3. Utilize tools such as staple gun, scissors, screw driver, staple puller, pliers, tape measure,

power drill, heat gun, hydraulic lift, gravity fed tip table

4. Stage freight for trucks to be shipped out

5. Load trucks to be shipped out

6. Organize shipping area for staged furniture to be picked up

7. Stage and load freight on company truck for photo shoots as needed

8. May be asked to drive, load and unload upholstered and case goods furniture to

Showroom for Furniture Market as needed

9. Maintain valid NC Driver License to drive company vehicles if applicable
