Responsibilities
Achieve annualized new business sales goals of $80K in our target market of companies with 10-50 employee lives.
Meet new business activity and quality appointment goals.
Research prospects and develop customized messaging using USI resources.
Explain USI’s competitive differentiation to clients and prospects.
Develop sales plans and prospecting strategies; overcome sales obstacles.
Build client and prospect pipelines; develop cross-selling strategies.
Innovate for clients using market knowledge and technical insurance expertise.
Utilize USI’s contact management and sales tools effectively.
Participate in USI’s training and sales programs.
Represent USI positively at meetings, seminars, trade shows, and networking events.
Communicate solutions effectively to non-insurance buyers.
Develop and deploy sales and marketing strategies to enhance USI’s marketplace position.
Collaborate with account management and regional resources to maximize results.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least 2 years of sales experience in insurance brokerage with a proven success record.
College degree preferred.
Life and Health insurance license required.
Personable, motivated, goal-oriented, and driven.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
Understanding of Employee Benefits; consultative approach.
Customer-focused listening skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal supervision.
Ability to interact with senior management and maintain an executive presence.

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
