About the Opportunity
A rapidly growing North American manufacturer in the flexible packaging and technical film industry is expanding its U.S. operations and adding several Extrusion Operators to the team. This is an excellent time to get in early, with significant investments in new extrusion lines, automation, and facility expansion, creating major opportunities for growth and advancement.
If you’re someone who enjoys hands-on machine work, learning new skills, and being part of a team that’s building something big, this could be a perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
Set up and operate plastic extrusion equipment to produce high-quality blown film products.
Perform in-process checks for thickness, width, opacity, and overall film quality.
Adjust machine parameters and tooling as needed during runs.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic mechanical repairs or adjustments.
Maintain accurate production reports and inventory records.
Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized while following company safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience operating plastic extrusion machinery (blown film preferred).
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
Willingness to train on 1st shift and transition to a rotating 2-2-3 schedule (days or nights).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A “fix-it” mindset — comfortable diagnosing minor mechanical or process issues before calling maintenance.
Why You’ll Love It
$27.27 / hr base pay + $2 / hr night shift differential
Built-in overtime every other week (48 hours one week, 36 the next)
Excellent opportunity to move up quickly and potential to become a Shift Lead within a year
State-of-the-art machinery and ongoing investment in training and development
Team-oriented culture focused on learning, growth, and internal promotion
