Job description

Join Axon and be a Force for Good.

At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.

Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

Your Impact

As Principal Product Manager – Law Enforcement & Enterprise Collaboration, you will define and execute the strategy for collaboration tools that securely connect enterprise customers and law enforcement in real time. You will focus on delivering high-confidence alerting, seamless incident data sharing, and coordinated workflows that drive operational impact for both enterprise security teams and public safety responders.

You will work with customers, industry partners, and internal teams to design solutions that remove silos, build trust, and make cross-agency coordination a default capability.

Work Location: This role is based out of our Boston, MA office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for law enforcement and enterprise collaboration within Axon’s RTO portfolio.

  • Design and deliver secure, scalable collaboration experiences for real-time alerting, data sharing, and joint operational workflows.

  • Engage directly with enterprise security leaders, GSOC operators, and public safety agencies to understand communication challenges, interoperability gaps, and operational priorities.

  • Define detailed product requirements that ensure compliance with enterprise IT, law enforcement standards, and privacy/security regulations.

  • Partner with engineering, design, deployment, customer success, and sales engineering teams to build solutions that drive adoption and deliver measurable operational value.

  • Develop scalable onboarding, permissions, and access controls to ensure secure information exchange between enterprise and public safety stakeholders.

  • Track and analyze product performance metrics such as adoption rate, cross-agency engagement, incident resolution time, and customer satisfaction.

  • Serve as an advocate for public-private collaboration both inside Axon and externally at industry events and with key partners.

  • Identify and manage integration opportunities with Axon and third-party systems to extend the reach and impact of collaboration capabilities.

What Success Looks Like

  • Operational impact: Law enforcement and enterprise users can seamlessly connect, share information, and coordinate during incidents without friction.

  • Adoption at scale: Collaboration features are deployed across multiple industries and geographies, with high usage rates and measurable response improvements.

  • Trusted interoperability: Customers trust Axon to enable secure, compliant, and reliable connections between public and private security teams.

  • Market leadership: Axon becomes the go-to provider for real-time, cross-agency security collaboration.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, ideally in public safety, physical security, or collaboration platforms.

  • Proven ability to define and deliver customer-facing products that require high security, compliance, and interoperability standards.

  • Experience building or integrating communication, alerting, or data-sharing systems used in mission-critical environments.

  • Strong technical fluency in real-time communications, IoT, or video/data streaming technologies.

  • Deep understanding of both enterprise security operations and law enforcement workflows.

  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders across technical and operational domains.

  • Confidence engaging with customers ranging from front-line operators to executive leadership.

  • Clear, concise communication skills and a track record of translating complex requirements into actionable product plans.

Benefits that Benefit You

  • Discretionary paid time off

  • Paid parental leave for all parents
