As the Senior Director of Technical Program Management, you will be a key driver of efficiency, growth, and scalability at PayNearMe. This role focuses on maturing and scaling strategic technical program management practices to align operational processes with long-term business objectives. Reporting to the VP of Business Operations and partnering closely with our Product and Engineering leadership, you will oversee and ensure the delivery of our most critical cross-functional programs, with visibility into the full technical portfolio. You will evaluate, implement, and enhance project management best practices to strengthen program teams, tools, and communication channels. This role will also be accountable for driving reliability and quality programs that strengthen production readiness, incident response, and systemic risk management.
Balance leading key programs directly while also coaching and developing the TPM team, focusing on building, developing, and mentoring a high-performing TPM team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your technical depth and strategic leadership will be crucial in ensuring delivery predictability, aligning processes with business goals, promoting team growth, and maintaining high standards of delivery excellence to achieve our company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Portfolio Leadership :
Provide strategic direction across PayNearMe's technical program portfolio, ensuring alignment with company goals and clear visibility for leadership.
Reliability & Quality :
Lead cross-functional programs that strengthen system reliability, scalability, and production readiness.
Governance :
Provide oversight and program leadership across PayNearMe's technical project and program portfolio to drive successful execution.
Operational Excellence :
Determine and implement technical project management best practices to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
Program and Project Management :
Partner with Product, Engineering, and business leadership to define and deliver strategic technical programs with company goals.
Team Leadership and Growth :
Lead efforts to scale and standardize the TPM function across the organization, creating frameworks and fostering innovation.
