Travel ICU RN Job Details Assignment Length : 14 weeks Start Date : December 8, 2025 End Date : March 16, 2026 Location : Cartersville, GA 30120 (Georgia travel nursing job) Facility : Community hospital, 21-bed ICU Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM), 3 shifts / week Weekly Hours : 36 hours / week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1660-$1700 Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required Floating : Within facility and scope of practice as needed ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (first-time travel nurses welcome) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or Compact State (required at submission) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system preferred Ability to provide two supervisory references (Manager or above) Availability to work major holidays during assignment Compliance with all facility onboarding and orientation requirements ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Administer medications, manage ventilators, and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips Assist with procedures including arterial line management, central line care, and chest tube insertion / removal Interpret arterial blood gases and cardiac dysrhythmias Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy) Float to other nursing units within scope of practice as needed Maintain infection prevention and isolation protocols Ready to take the next step in your ICU nursing career?
