The Town of Plains is seeking a Public Works Operator 1. Skills and Qualifications : Operate heavy machinery (backhoe, grader, sweeper, etc) Work in confined spaces Maintain accurate records Lift weight up to 100 lbs. Maintain equipment Must be able to get water / sewer certified within 2 years (training available) No experience necessary Duties : May work alone or with others to operate, maintain and repair systems Work is primarily outdoors and may be performed in severe weather conditions and extreme temperatures May be called out any time 24 / 7 for work emergencies Benefits : Health Dental Vision Retirement Vacation Sick Training How to Apply : Apply at City Hall in Plains or at Job Service
