Systems Engineer – Permanent Placement (Remote Eligible)

Location : Remote (must reside in FL, GA, ID, IA, KS, OK, MO, NE, NV, TX, or TN)

Employment Type : Full-Time, Direct Hire

We’re seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join a growing Professional Services team supporting enterprise clients across multiple industries. This is a full-time, permanent role offering remote flexibility for candidates based in select states. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building either Citrix or Azure Native environments (not AVD) and a strong background in client-facing implementation work.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the primary build engineer delivering solutions designed by senior architects.
  • Install, configure, and support :

Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (on-prem or Citrix Cloud)

  • Azure Native environments (not AVD)
  • Nutanix AHV or VMware ESXi workloads
  • Microsoft 365 with Exchange Online
  • Intune
  • Collaborate with client IT teams to assess readiness, communicate progress, and validate deployments.
  • Support user acceptance testing and troubleshoot deployment issues.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely, secure delivery.
  • Document implementation steps, create solution diagrams (Visio), and contribute to process improvements.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and vendor offerings.

    • What You Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in build and implementation roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience building either Citrix or Azure Native environments.
  • Minimum 3 years working for an integrator or consulting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and client communication skills.
  • Bonus experience with tools like ControlUp, FSLogix, IGEL, Nerdio, Liquidware.
  • Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-140, or CCA-V are a plus.
