What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Build and manage a high-performance engineering team focused on delivering enterprise-wide products

Collaborate with stakeholders to address project dependencies and deliver on time

Identify project risks and present implementable solutions

Cultivate a motivating culture that encourages team members to achieve higher levels of performance

Develop and manage the team budget while reporting on results

What is Required (Qualifications)

Fluency and specialization in Java, GraphQL, and SQL

10+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in people leadership roles

5+ years of experience building large-scale, mission-critical applications

2+ years of experience with AI and ML technologies

Proficiency in cloud architecture and DevOps concepts

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience building products with micro-services-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs

Familiarity with application monitoring tools and performance assessments

Strong analytical problem-solving skills using quantitative approaches

Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

Experience partnering with engineering teams to transfer research to production
