We provide services in three different Divisions : Farmworker Services, Affordable Housing, and Community Services.
Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Establishes priorities and oversees all the contracts and services offered at the ASET Center.
- Represents the Centers at partners meeting and tracks performance indicators.
- Build and maintain partnerships with workforce development board and job centers.
- Designs and implements an effective marketing campaign to promote the services offered at the Center with the Marketing Director.
- Prepares proposals, reports, and other ASET Center documents to ensure programmatic and contractual compliance.
- Ensures courses are aligned with industry regulations and occupational demands.
- Oversees eligibility and enrollment in the appropriate activity of new clients.
- Ensures that instructors conduct their respective courses in accordance with approved curriculum.
- Compiles data from a variety of standardized sources and makes lists, reports or tabulations.
- Maintain coursework approvals on the Employment Training Provider List (ETPL) and maintain compliance with Bureau of Private and Post Secondary Education (BPPE).
- Ensures that complete records are maintained on all students / clients, and monitors records to ensure conformity, completeness and compliance.
- Ensure all clients’ status changes are processed.
- Ensures client entrance and exit procedures are followed.
- Works closely with MIS Staff to ensure knowledge on program eligibility and performance standards.
- Oversees Data Entry for all MIS client tracking systems.
- Provide conflict resolution and receive grievances for students.
- Coordinate with staff the scheduling advisory Committee meetings as needed.
- Comply with privacy and access requirements.
- Actively participates in the safety program and provides meaningful suggestions for working safely.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages three (3) or more non-exempt employees in the department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Centers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Required Skills and Abilities
Ability to travel to various locations.Bilingual English / Spanish is preferred.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to create and interpret charts and graphs.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Education and / or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.Two years related experience and / or training.Experience with WIOA funded or similar programs and knowledge of adult learning concepts preferred.Experience managing, training, educational or workforce programs.Equivalent combination of education and experience.
