Title :  Senior Rust Developer

Client :  State of Georgia

Location : Georgia Department of Human Services, 47 Trinity Avenue SW, 2nd Floor, Atlanta, GA 30334

Duration : 12 Months

Notes :

  • Hybrid role—requiring on-site presence two days per week.

Job Overview :

  • The Senior Rust Developer will lead the development efforts for rewriting the EAP application in the Rust programming language.
  • They will be responsible for ensuring secure, high-performance, and scalable code.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development of Rust-based components of the new application.
  • Design and implement secure, high-performance, and scalable backend systems.
  • Ensure that the new system meets business, functional, and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with other developers and teams to ensure smooth integration of system components.
  • Perform thorough code reviews to maintain quality and security standards.

    • Required Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience in Rust programming and system development.
  • Experience in rewriting legacy systems and developing secure, scalable applications.

    • Certifications :

  • Rust programming certifications preferred.

    Required Experience : 5+ years of experience in Rust programming and system development. Experience in rewriting legacy systems and developing secure, scalable applications. Certifications : Rust programming certifications are preferred.
