Clinical Nurse II - Critical Care Float Pool, 36hrs / week, DAYS

Are you ready to embark on a rewarding nursing journey? Join our Critical Care Float Pool team and make a significant impact in a variety of critical care settings, including Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Cardiovascular ICU, and the intermediate care ICU - the MSICU.

This position offers you the opportunity to enhance your critical care skills while working as part of a dynamic, skilled nursing team at the region's only Level I trauma center. In the Critical Care Float Pool, you may also gain competencies in Emergency Department care and neuro-progressive care areas.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, and start IVs.
• Perform treatments and procedures while documenting as per policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Assess patient needs and evaluate care responses.
• Provide emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications, including over-the-counter and prescription drugs.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care.
• Guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
