User Experience Designer Job at Rentokil Pest Control South Africa in New York

Purpose of role

The overall purpose of the role is to ensure RI meets user needs in order to achieve business objectives. As the UX designer, you contribute to creating and enhancing the user experience of RI’s +150 websites, ensuring it supports our business objectives and enhances our customers' experience.

You'll be responsible for understanding user needs and creating design interfaces that are intuitive, seamless, and engaging. You will work closely with the Design Lead, Product Managers, Digital Content Managers, CRO specialists, Data Analyst, Digital Marketing Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, and Business stakeholders.

Additionally, you'll contribute to developing and upholding our design system, helping to maintain consistency. Ultimately, your will help enhance the customer experience received by RI’s prospective and existing customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

User Research and Analysis

• Conduct user research and competitive analysis to deeply understand user needs, behaviours, motivations, pain points, and goals. This includes evaluating how existing designs currently meet, or fail to meet, user needs.
• Map user journeys and user flows to achieve a goal, identify potential friction points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyse user feedback and data. Interpret qualitative and quantitative data to inform design choices and identify specific areas of poor performance or user frustration within existing designs.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in UX design, this is a mid-level role.
