Salary :
Summary / Objective : The Loan Processor prepares and finalizes documentation for new, renewed, modified, and refinanced loans across commercial, agricultural, and consumer portfolios. This role coordinates with lenders to ensure all required customer documents are collected and accurately prepared in compliance with federal, state, and bank regulations. Once loans are closed, the processor completes booking and uploads all data to the banks Core system in accordance with loan policy and procedures.
Essential functions :
- Prepare documentation for new, renewed, and modified commercial, agricultural, and consumer loans.
- Coordinate with lenders to collect and verify documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal / state regulations, loan approvals, and bank policy.
- Manage the loan pipeline efficiently, completing all required conditions and exceptions to support timely loan closings.
- Scan and index loan documents in the banks electronic filing system; assist with maintaining the documentation exception report.
- Monitor and track loan exceptions within the banks electronic system to ensure resolution and compliance.
- Collaborate with loan officers to meet requirements for government-guaranteed loans (FSA / SBA / USDA).
- Participate in customer, community, and public relations activities to enhance the banks visibility and promote new business opportunities.

A High School Diploma or equivalent. A business management or finance degree is a plus but not required.One year of experience in banking. One year of loan operations experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate, who has the motivation and ambition to learn, unless the position focuses on specializing in specific areas. Two years of banking experience and one year of lending are required.Supervisory :
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities and may serve as a mentor for other positions in the organization.
