Job Title : Clinical Pharmacist 3-Month Contract

Location : On-site | Birmingham, AL

Schedule : Part-time | 2435 hours / week | MonFri, 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM

Contract Dates : Starts 12 / 30 | 13-week assignment

Licensure Required : Active AL & TN Pharmacist Licenses (both required)

System Used : CareTend (CPR+ upgrade)

Opportunity Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a part-time, 13-week contract position to provide coverage for a leave of absence. This role is based on-site in our Birmingham, AL facility, with a flexible schedule ranging from 24 to 35 hours per week .

This is a great opportunity to step into a well-supported clinical environment with an established patient base. The site is giving us advanced notice to ensure a smooth hand-off, and we are looking to identify the right candidate well ahead of the 12 / 30 start date.

Key Responsibilities :

Review and verify prescriptions, monitor drug therapies, and provide clinical oversight

Dispense specialty medications and counsel patients on safe and effective usage

Oversee pharmacy technician workflows and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

Ensure pliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and standards

Utilize CareTend system to manage prescriptions and documentation

Contribute to continuous improvement and performance activities

Required Qualifications :

BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy

Active and unrestricted Pharmacist Licenses in both AL & TN

3+ years of experience in specialty, infusion, hospital, or retail pharmacy preferred

Proficient with prescription review, clinical decision-making, and patient interaction

Familiarity with CareTend (CPR+) is a plus

Strong munication, organizational, and documentation skills
