Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) is mandatory and must be included upfront with all submissions. This license is required by the state of MA for staffing purposes. Responsibilities : \n \n
Provide exceptional clinical care for patients in the CCU, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.\nCollaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed.\nMonitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform complex nursing procedures following hospital protocols.\nDocument patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.\nRespond swiftly to emergencies and provide critical care support.\nAdhere to all hospital policies, including dress code and safety regulations.\n\n\n
What You Bring : \n \n
Valid Massachusetts RN license and current Temporary Nursing Service Agency License .\nProven experience in critical care, especially in cardiac or intensive care settings.\nAbility to adapt quickly to fluctuations in patient needs and unit demands.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nCommitment to high standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism.\n\n\n
Preferred Education & Experience :
\n \n
Education : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).\nExperience : Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience in Critical Care units, with demonstrated proficiency in managing complex cardiac patients.\nPrevious float experience and ability to handle multi-patient responsibilities preferred.\n\n\n

Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable.\nHoliday and overtime pay are calculated at 1.25x the regular rate.\nFor holiday coverage, travelers are required to work two of the following : Thanksgiving, the weekend after Christmas, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day.\nRequests for time off must be submitted and approved prior to upload—no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.\nNo assignments will be considered if residing within 50 miles of Berkshire Medical Center.
