Adjunct Faculty of Theatre History, Department of Music & Theatre

Xavier University is seeking qualified candidates to join our pool of potential adjunct faculty for the 2025-2026 academic year. This posting is intended to collect applications for part-time non-tenure-track position for an Adjunct Instructor to teach the Theatre History sequence in the Department of Music & Theatre .

Candidates must be dedicated to undergraduate teaching and demonstrate excellence in their field. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement.

Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis and candidates may be contacted as teaching needs arise. Adjunct faculty contracts are issued on a semester-by-semester basis depending on departmental needs and student enrollment.

Minimum Qualifications :

Masters degree in Theatre or related field

Duties include :

Teach one section of Theatre History II for Theatre / Musical Theatre majors on Tuesday / Thursday from 1 : 00-2 : 15
