About The Position

Job Title : PACU RN

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day, Evening

Hours per Shift : 8 or 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : Required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have : ECT procedure experience preferred, ICU or Pediatric experience preferred

Description :

Seeking one PACU RN for a busy acute care setting.

Candidate should have experience with ECT procedures.

Need to fill a day position with options for 10 or 12-hour shifts.

Call will work out to be approximately one weekend every six weeks.

Types of cases include Ortho, Neuro, General, and ENT.

Preference for candidates with ICU and / or Pediatric experience.

Opportunity to see trauma cases in a high-volume environment.

The facility has 23 operating rooms.

Total cases per day range from 50 to 70.

Charting will be done using a specified electronic system.

This is a dynamic position in a fast-paced environment.
