PCA Or HHA
Performs various resident care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the residents.
Responsibilities include :
- Performing various resident care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the residents
- Helping patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and other daily tasks.
- Performing basic health care services for patients including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication.
- Helping with general light housekeeping.
- Making transportation arrangements as needed.
- Working with a nurse, personal care aide, a CNA, nurse aide, nursing assistant, and other caregivers and medical professionals.
- Observing and reporting on patient condition.
Requirements include :
PCA or HHA certification requiredMust be at least 18 years oldHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredMust demonstrate knowledge of age specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents.Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliableStrong customer service skills and compassionBenefits include :
