Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the Flavor and Popcorn departments. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of specialized equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair equipment including Auger Fillers, Gable Top Carton Filling Machines, Vertical Form / Fill / Seal Machines, and Combination Scales.
  • Ensure smooth operation of Conveyor Systems, Ink Jet Printers, Liquid Processors, Ribbon Blenders, Vibratory Screens, and X-Ray / Metal Detection equipment.
  • Install, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and other industrial control systems.
  • Perform equipment changeovers and scheduled maintenance based on production needs.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications for accurate repairs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Auger Fillers, Vertical Form / Fill / Seal Machines, and similar equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC installation, programming, and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to perform equipment changeovers and preventive maintenance.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with boiler systems and electrical maintenance.
  • Familiarity with X-Ray and Metal Detection systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

    Job Description

  • Perform equipment changeovers and scheduled maintenance based on production needs.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance, promptly reporting and addressing issues.
  • Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to ensure accurate repairs.
  • Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in repairing equipment such as Auger Fillers and Vertical Form / Fill / Seal Machines.
  • Ability to install, program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs and industrial equipment.
  • Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
  • Experience in performing equipment changeovers and scheduled maintenance.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and boiler maintenance.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Permanent position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $65000.00 / yr.
