Senior Accountant - Public Accounting Wayne NJ area $80-90,000 Established and growth-oriented CPA Firm is currently looking to add to their team! Responsibilities/Requirements include: · 3-7 years recent, small business tax and accounting experience in a public accounting environment. · Review small business accounting. · Prepare and review individual, business and partnership returns for accuracy and completeness. · Prepare tax projections and conduct tax planning. · Speak with clients to discuss tax planning options. · Responsible for tax research. · Responsible for keeping the accounting team abreast of federal and state tax law changes. · Assist with training of staff members. · Proficient in tax software, Ultra-Tax preferred. · Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft products. · BS in Accounting required. · Enrolled Agent, CPA or actively pursuing certification
