Remote Veteran Service Assistant

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• This frontline role is essential to providing daily support and ensuring a safe, respectful, and structured living environment for the veterans we serve
• Veteran-Centered Service : Deliver daily essential services such as meals, hygiene supplies, and shelter with dignity and care
• Customer Service Excellence : Support veterans with their needs, concerns, and transitions-including move-ins and move-outs-while maintaining a client-first approach
• Conflict Resolution & De-escalation : Respond to and help prevent verbal and physical altercations; document incidents and report to site leadership promptly
• Safety & Emergency Procedures : Implement and uphold all safety protocols, including bed checks, emergency response actions, and room inspections to ensure a clean and hazard-free facility
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with clinical and residential staff to maintain a therapeutic and supportive environment
• Facility Upkeep : Assist with facility cleanliness, maintenance, inventory supply needs, and preparation for inspections
• Routine Monitoring & Documentation : Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of services, safety checks, and client interactions
