Skid assembler

Ready to make a splash in your career? Join our Aquatics Manufacturing team as an Assembly Technician where you'll be skid-ding into action daily! You will be vital in keeping our production afloat by building specialized Skids and components right on schedule, ensuring our customer orders don't get waterlogged. This role involves coordinating material flow, meticulously reading technical blueprints, and rigging up parts, connections, and sub-assemblies with precision torque. We need you to have a sharp eye to catch any defects, performing electrical tests to ensure everything is shipshape, and reworking defective units to specification-because quality is always our top stream. You'll need to flow with our strict safety protocols, especially the food safety guidelines that require no jewelry, fake nails, or loose items during facility tours. Responsibilities

The core function of this position is the assembly of Skids and related components to meet the production schedule and coordinate orders to satisfy customer demands.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining inventory of parts and supplies at the workstation and accumulating necessary materials using the product parts list. The individual must read assembly instructions, diagrams, or schematics to determine the assembly sequence.

Key tasks involve inspecting and adjusting parts for proper assembly, examining connections for correct fit and torque, and verifying specifications by performing prescribed electrical tests, if applicable, to ensure the unit's proper functionality. The employee must identify product defects and complete rejection paperwork. They are also responsible for reworking and testing defective units according to engineering specifications, ensuring all work is quality-minded and accurate.

Administrative and compliance duties include maintaining the workstation in a clean and orderly condition, following all prescribed safety regulations, and complying with all Company policies. The role requires meeting goals, completing objectives promptly, and performing other assigned duties
