Executive Director Of Community Development
The Executive Director of Community Development is responsible for the sales of bulk or right of entry agreements for fiber-to-the-home / unit projects within the designated area. They are an entrepreneur, a strong and proven sales leader and have a desire to build a business unit. The key objective of this position is to build a business vertical that caters to homeowners' associations, condominium associations and co-ops in the single-family home, multi-family and vertical-MDU space. Building a differentiated strategy for the given market and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas are the key objectives. This position requires a dynamic leader with a hands-on approach to brand awareness and new customer outreach. This position has oversight of the sales strategy, product strategy, pricing, and will partner with marketing to build a differentiated strategy and to generate a pipeline of new customers.
Key Responsibilities
Understand each community's strategy - their community priorities as well as the competitive landscape to proactively identify and capture opportunities; what is Blue Stream's differentiated strategy.
Work with the Blue Stream team to build a go-to-market strategy that aligns its sales approach, marketing messaging, product offerings and future product development with the buyers in this vertical.
Build relationships of influence in this sector by connecting with key executives, decision makers, and influencers to ensure satisfaction at the highest levels.
Establish a pipeline of opportunities by demonstrating deep knowledge of the communities' pain points and buying criteria to align product offerings and packages with client needs.
Work with the Blue Stream Fiber team to build a database of the right targets and then ensuring marketing is campaigning the right content to them.
Collaborate internally with the Product team to ensure that features, benefits, and product packaging are aligned with these verticals needs.
Create effective presentations that will be used with prospective clients.
Maintain strong relationships with outside consultants, vendor partners, and property managers.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) and / or a minimum of six years of related experience.
Able to communicate in the English language. Bilingual in any language is a plus.
Able to organize and prioritize effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point.
An entrepreneurial drive and a track record of building on ideas and seeing them through.
Three years of enterprise level sales leadership experience.
Six years of experience in selling to the developer, builder, and associations for the HOA, MDU or Multi-Family sectors.
Proven track record of achieving and beating sales quota.
Knowledge of the bulk services market in Florida. Preferred.
Extensive knowledge of CRM and how to effectively utilize it as a tool at the rep and leadership level.
Demonstration of accurate sales forecasting ability through CRM.
A track record of working with a defined sales process and methodology.
Excellent time management, negotiation, goal setting, prospecting, and interpersonal skills.
Strong and effective communication skills both orally and written.
