Shift : Days, 06 : 45 – 15 : 15 (8-hour shifts), plus on-call requirements

Hours per Week : 40

Number of Beds : 12

EMR System : Cerner

Scrub Color : Blue (provided on site)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana

Current ACLS and BLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent operating room (OR RN) experience, including open heart procedures

Preferred experience in Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci Robot, General Surgery, Gynecology, and Podiatry cases

Ability to participate in on-call rotation as needed

Must provide valid RN license, certifications, driver’s license, and permanent home address upon submission

Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Key Responsibilities

Circulate in open heart and general surgical cases within the cardiovascular operating room

Assist with room turnover and maintain adequate surgical supplies

Participate in on-call rotation as required by the healthcare facility

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary surgical team to deliver optimal patient care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Cerner EMR system

Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards
