Must-Have :

Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

General surgery, orthopedic, and neuro surgery experience for both RN and Tech.

Basic general OR knowledge of more than one year.

For CVOR, candidates must have at least two years of CVOR experience, including all adult open heart cases, open and endovascular cases.

Experience with open vascular cases, including open and endovascular AAA surgery.

Willingness to work with cath lab on cases such as TAVR (trans aortic valve replacement).

Description :

This position involves backfilling a contract role for RN in the cardiovascular operating room.

10-hour day shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM are required.

On-call is required, with a rotating call schedule that includes weekends.

The unit has 11 operating rooms and a staffing level of 40 personnel across all shifts.

Patient ratios are maintained at 1 : 1.

Candidates should possess varied OR equipment experience, including microscopes, robotic systems, and hybrid room equipment.

Preferred candidates will have trauma experience for both RN and Tech roles, as well as vascular surgery experience.

Typical surgical procedures will include X-lif, A-lif, decompression, ACDF, craniotomy, robotic surgeries, orthopedic trauma, general surgeries, and more.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate flexibility in handling different types of surgeries and work well with existing staff.

Candidates should be open to picking up extra hours as needed.

Scrubs will be provided, and the expected scrub color is light blue.

The department values collaboration and adaptability, making it essential for team members to integrate smoothly into the unit's workflow.
