Oncology Nurse Practitioner

Healthcare System seeks a Nurse Practitioner to work with a state-of-the-art and fast-moving oncology team. The Nurse Practitioner will assume total clinic management of oncology patients working directly with the Oncologist. The Nurse Practitioner would follow standards and procedures established and give follow up care for stable cancer patients on maintenance therapies. The Nurse Practitioner would provide urgent care of cancer patients experiencing unexpected complications. The Nurse Practitioner will counsel individual patients regarding exam findings, abnormal lab results and the appropriate follow up.

The ideal candidate is experienced as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner but will train a newer graduate with an oncology background as an RN.
