Psychiatrist Locums Job in North Carolina Scheduled Hospital Hours Immediate and Ongoing Assignment

Coverage Needed :

Immediate and ongoing

Facility accepting multiple providers

Shift Description :

Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts

Can start at desired time but must be at 9am treatment team

Can leave after rounding patients but must then be available by phone until 5pm

Requirements :

Board certified or board eligible

Fellowship

Must be licensed in North Carolina

BLS certification

Specialty skills : anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD / ADHD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, organic disorders, involuntary commitments, restraint application, pharmacotherapy, and family therapy

Assignment Details :

Admissions and rounding

Acute psychiatric unit

Average patients per shift : 16-18

Beds in unit : 21

Support staff : PA / NPs

EMR : HCS for orders, Fluency Flex for notes

Estimated credentialing timeframe : 30-45 days
