Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ED - Emergency Department Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 25 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : ER Registered Nurse (RN) Location : Silver City, NM Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 00), weekend rotation, float as needed Unit : ER RN, 13-bed unit, patient ratio 1 : 4 Facility : Level III Trauma, Acute Care, teaching hospital, daily census 40–50 Charting System : Meditech Job Overview : Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages (neonates to geriatrics) in a combined adult / pediatric ER. The RN will monitor patient conditions, manage acute emergencies, collaborate with the care team, and deliver safe, high-quality patient care . Responsibilities : Monitor vitals, cardiac rhythms, and dysrhythmias; obtain 12-lead ECG Administer medications including continuous IV paralytics, sedation, emergency meds, and IV vasopressors Manage IV therapy, arterial lines, blood products, central lines, and procedural sedation Respond to trauma, shock, gunshot wounds, amputations, and multisystem organ failure Provide care for neuro-trauma, spinal cord injuries, and TBI patients Manage ortho trauma, splints, and perform triage Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team Maintain documentation and follow hospital policies Requirements : Current NM or multi-state RN license Minimum 1 year RN experience; ER / critical care preferred BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; CPI and NIHSS preferred Ability to work nights, weekends, and float within scope Strong multitasking, critical reasoning, and communication skills Additional Information : Weekly hours : 36 Flexible schedule and ability to float essential Interdisciplinary support available for patient care About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies : Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
