JOB PURPOSE

Carry out store awareness programs addressing theft, safety, inventory, and operational controls, product protection strategies, awareness, and deterrence programs in the store. Works in partnership with Regional Loss Prevention Supervisor to ensure operational excellence and reduce exposure to theft through operational assessments and associate training / awareness.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducts assessments of operational and shortage control procedures to monitor store compliance and inventory shortage and performance trends.
• Communicates with Regional Loss Prevention Supervisor and works to improve operational deficiencies.
• Reviews various exception reports to identify and resolve inventory shortage.
• Conducts physical security / safety inspections to ensure store is compliant with Company policies and procedures.
• Works to create a “culture of honesty” and “impression of control” in the store.
• Act as the liaison for safety by heading up all OSHA, DHEC, and PSA standards. Lead efforts in keeping records of safety compliance training, inspect equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

Carries out theft prevention programs for the store. Identifies theft trends within assigned location and implement theft prevention strategies to reduce exposure.

QUALIFICATIONS

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may require regular evening and weekend work and may include holidays as well. As the figure of authority in the store you may have to deal with challenging customers from time to time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Employee may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time : Reading, writing, and speaking on all necessary forums, hearing, standing, walking, running, lifting up to 70lb, climbing, stooping and sitting.
