Location : Putnam, Connecticut 06260 (Connecticut nursing jobs) / n

Facility : Acute care hospital – 6-bed Intensive Care Unit / n

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 29 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026) / n

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am), every other weekend required / n

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week / n

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990–$2130 / n

Charting System : Cerner Corporation - MedSeries4 / n

/ n / nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications / n

/ n

Active RN license in Connecticut or ability to obtain temporary Connecticut RN license (Connecticut RN jobs) / n

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (critical care nurse experience) / n

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) / n

Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification / n

Current ACLS certification / n

NIHSS certification / n

Current NVCIT (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training) certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire / n

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 6-bed ICU setting / n

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding to abnormal patterns / n

Demonstrate expertise in hemodynamic monitoring, equipment troubleshooting, and accurate documentation / n

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes / n

Maintain timely and precise documentation using Cerner MedSeries4 / n

Participate in ongoing professional development and adhere to hospital and nursing policies / n
