Job Description :

The instructor will teach undergraduate / graduate level courses in the Department of Accounting. A graduate level class my be considered if applicant has expertise in a specialized field. A typical teaching load is 4 courses in the Fall and 4 courses in the Spring.

Full time instructor will shadow the existing director of the Center for Internal Audit / Cybersecurity Risk Management to observe, learn and implement best practices for the students within the CIA / CRM program and develop key relationships with industry partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

50% - Teach Undergraduate / Graduate Classes in Accounting and / or Internal Auditing

50% - Serve as the Associate Director of the Center for Internal Audit / Cybersecurity Risk Management which will include working closely with the CIA / CRM Director in carrying out the major functions of the program (e.g., student recruitment, placement, employer engagement, etc.).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education Level : PhD. in Accounting or business related discipline

Degree Substitute : Master's degree in Accounting or Master's degree in a closely related business field with the Certified Internal Auditor certification, CISA, CISSP, CISM or CPA with 5+ years of experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Education Level : PhD in Accounting or closely related business related field

Specific Experience : Industry related experience
