We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Expert to drive our growth within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in business development, with a proven ability to secure new science and technology (S&T) programs. This position requires exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and a knack for building meaningful relationships with clients. You will collaborate with Portfolio Leads, Chief Engineers, and various internal teams to deliver impactful and innovative programs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement MORSE's business development strategy to enhance our visibility in the DoD and intelligence sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, crafting persuasive proposals that showcase our strengths.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including program managers and acquisition officials.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program capture and execution.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to pinpoint industry trends, competitor actions, and customer needs.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies relevant to our fields and identify growth opportunities.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, engineering, computer science).2-5 years of business development experience, preferably with the DoD or intelligence community.Experience in technical sales, particularly in domains like artificial intelligence or software, is highly desirable.Familiarity with DARPA, as well as the procedures of the US Army, Air Force, Navy, and other defense organizations.Demonstrated success in securing new contracts and driving revenue growth.In-depth knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, including FAR and DFARS.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex concepts.Experience in greenfield business development and proficiency in dynamic work environments.At MORSE, we pride ourselves on maintaining a collaborative work culture that values long-term success and employee satisfaction.
